I first discovered Merlin Mann when I was trying to figure out a way to implement Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity.
This is a great book, one that really worked for me, but David Allen leaves it up to you to figure out your own system--what kind of capture device you want to use. Blackberry? iPhone? In my case, it ended up being the Moleskine Ruled Notebook Pocket and I only figured that out by reading the now defunct forum at Merlin's site, 43 Folders.Today I'm linking to him for a different reason. If you are a writer, you should read this entry of his. It addresses very hard writer-issues. It tugs at your heart, twists it, and makes you wonder, what would I do? What did I do? What would I do if I could start over again?
Mainly, it makes me know that wherever his book ends up being published, his book, I will buy it.
I want to read it.
As long as it is his book.
Let me know what you think.
