I don't care how smart you think you are (and nothing in this open letter convinces me that he is) or how right you think you are (and lots in this open letter is sadly true about how the publishing business operates)--
Never do this.
And be glad you aren't this guy's agent.

I couldn't read it all -- just too wince-inducing. But I will say, his inability to spell "Simon & Schuster" is not helping his case.
If only that were the worst of his problems.
